Friday of the Congress week was the feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Our Lord. High Mass was celebrated by Dom Mark Kirby, OSB, prior of the new Benedictine monastery at Stamullen, Co. Meath. Br Benedict, another monk from Stamullen, was subdeacon. I acted as deacon, but felt a little out of place without a monastic hood! It was a great honour to have Bishop James Conley, Auxiliary Bishop of Denver Archdiocese, in choir, along with several other visiting priests.
